All wildflower photographs for this web site were taken with either a RICOH RDC-5300 or a NIKON 4500 digital camera. These particular models have a macro feature that is ideal for "close-up" photographic images. Photographs were captured at the maximum resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels (24 x 10 inches), reduced to approximately 325 x 220 pixels (4.5 x 3 inches), and processed using the excellent "save for the web" function in Adobe Photoshop (ver 5.5) to produce jpeg images that are all below 20 kilobytes in size.
