False Nettle

Nettle Family: Urticaceae
Often growing as a cluster of stems 1 to 3 feet in height. Characterized by green-coloured flowers in a compact arrangement on a stiff spike arising from the axils of the upper leaves. The flower spike often bears small leaves at the tip. Leaves are somewhat oval in shape, pointed and toothed at the margins. Stems are without bristles. A wind pollinated plant.
